Profile: Alfredo Zayas Álvarez was born in Mexico City and has an academic background in marine sciences. His career and photographic proposal began in 2020. He has participated in various collective exhibitions at the Cultural Center of La Paz, Municipal Center of the Arts, Carlos Olachea Gallery and Baja California Sur Art Museum, in La Paz, BCS. He has five solo exhibitions, two virtually supported by the Municipal Directorate of Culture of La Paz (2021 and 2022), and three in person; Casa de Cultura de BCS. Biography: I was born in La Paz, Baja California Sur, my parents are from the states of Oaxaca and Guanajuato. Since I was little I always liked to create things with my hands, I took things apart and my mother taught me how to sew. I studied marine biology in La Paz, BCS, hence my taste for relating the macramé pieces that I make with marine elements and the detail of adding a metal shell to most of my designs. It was not until 2017 that I arrived in the Todos Santos- El Pescadero area and began to create my first pieces with waxed thread, after this I decided to create pieces with cotton thread, always trying to create different pieces, with my own style and with good quality natural elements. My brand is: Ola linda macramé It is a local brand focused on harmony, colors and elements present in nature, to create unique, durable and well-intentioned accessories.

Profile: María Campllonch, 32 years old, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, is an artist and traveler who currently works with photography and alternative printing processes from the 19th century, such as cyanotype and toning with plants and flowers. Her artistic journey began many years ago when she began studying Film at the UBA. Later, she immersed herself in the world of theater, working with various companies and studying Dramatic Arts at UNA (National University of the Arts). Years later, she became interested in photography and studied a Technical Degree in Image, with an emphasis on documentary photography and laboratory, at EAF (Argentine School of Photography). Throughout her career, she has taken workshops in various disciplines, such as marking, singing and theater. In addition, she studied LSA (Argentine Sign Language) for a year and a half. For the past five years, she has lived in Mexico, her second home, exploring the country and collecting experiences in different states. In recent years, she has taught cyanotype workshops in Quintana Roo and Chiapas. She currently lives in San José del Cabo, where she is part of the Los Cabos Art Garden.
